we want you to love what you ordered. if something's not right, here's how returns work.
items can be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. after 30 days, we're unable to offer a refund or exchange.
returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached. items showing signs of wear will not be accepted.
due to the nature of these products, items in the organics section are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, unless your item arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered (see below).
if you're returning an item because you changed your mind or it doesn't fit, return shipping is paid by you. if we made a mistake or your item arrived damaged or defective, we cover return shipping.
if your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. we'll send a replacement or give you a full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you. this applies to every item, including organics.

once your return is received and inspected, we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
by using this site and placing an order, you agree to the following terms.
items in the organics section are sold as empty storage containers, with no contents included. it is your responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply where you live, and we may decline to ship any item to a location where it is restricted.
all prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or error in pricing.
items are available while supplies last. we do not guarantee that any product will remain in stock.
you agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.
smacked organics is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or products purchased through it.

orders: when you check out, we receive your name, email, shipping address, and the items you bought. your card details are entered on stripe's secure checkout page and never reach our servers.
contact form: your name, email, and message.
email list and restock alerts: your email address if you join our list or ask to be notified when an item is back in stock, along with the product, size, and color you asked about.
usage data: if you allow analytics cookies, google analytics collects information such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, approximate location, and how you found the site.
stored on your device: your bag, saved items, and whether you've seen our signup popup are kept in your browser's local storage so the site works the way you expect. we also remember your cookie choice.
to process and ship orders, send order-related messages, answer your questions, notify you when an item is back in stock, send marketing emails if you've joined our list, keep inventory accurate, prevent fraud, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
we do not sell your personal information. we share it only with service providers that help us run the store, and only as needed for them to do their job:
stripe processes payments and hosts our checkout page. supabase stores our order records, inventory, and email list and runs our server functions. resend delivers our emails. google analytics provides site analytics, only if you opt in. github pages hosts the site and may log basic technical information like your ip address. shipping carriers receive your name and address to deliver your order.
we may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
essential storage (your bag and saved items) is always on because the site can't work without it. analytics cookies are off unless you turn them on. you can change your choice any time in cookie settings. stripe's checkout page is hosted by stripe and may set its own cookies, which are covered by stripe's privacy policy.
every marketing or notification email includes an unsubscribe link. clicking it removes your address from our list right away. restock alerts are sent once for the item you asked about and then deleted.
we keep order records as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. email list entries stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond and for our records.
you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe or change your cookie settings at any time. residents of california and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion, and we won't treat you differently for using them. to make a request, use our contact page. we also honor the global privacy control signal from your browser as an opt-out of analytics cookies.
this site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
we use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
we may update this policy from time to time. the date at the top shows when it last changed.
